Want to learn how to create beautiful garden compost year-round? Join us for this fun filled class to learn all about vermicomposting and make a starter vermicomposting worm bin to take home.
Each class participant will create a worm bin with one pound of red wiggler vermicomposting worms to take home and start your year round composting adventure. Participants will also learn what to feed red wiggler worms, how to care for your worm bin and how to harvest compost from a worm bin.
Cost of class includes $50 materials fee. Start time is 10:30 am. Class will be 1.5-2hrs long.
This class will be taught by Annie Bernauer, Master Gardener and Master Naturalist. She started her vermicomposting adventure over 10 years ago and has been a vermicomposting nerd ever since. Annie writes about her family’s adventures in modern day homesteading on her blog Montana Homesteader.
