Crafted Wild is excited to offer the community some amazing skills classes. Some of our classes are designed for adults while others are for families and/or children. Check back often or subscibe to our newsletter to stay up to date on our offerings.
Bark Tanning Series
Have you ever wanted to tan your own hides but thought it would be too labor intensive or time consuming?
Join Barnes and Danielle at Crafted Wild and experience the magical science of Bark Tanning. In this class we will use traditional techniques and natural ingredients to transform a half elk hide into a durable piece of leather, no crazy chemicals or back breaking labor needed.
Classes will be held each Saturday from July 12th through August 23rd. Each class will be around 2 hours in length. Teachers will be available after class if individuals need additional help. Class cost includes a half elk hide and all hide tanning materials, just bring yourself and the willingness to learn.
10% discount given to couples taking the class together. If you would like to work together on a whole hide instead of each doing a half please let us know in advance.
Additional hides and materials will be available for purchase at the end of the session to practice your new skill at home.

Vermicomposting
Crafted Wild is excited to host Montana Homsteader's Annie Bernauer. Annie and her students will explore Vermicomposting (worm composting) and build worm bins. Students will leave class with their own worm bins, prepopulated with a healthy bed of wigglers. Cost of class includes $50 materials fee.
