Curious about ancient hunting techniques?
Join us around a warming fire to learn about the history and mechanics of atlatl. After a safety briefing we will give a short lesson on how to use the atlatl followed by some one-on-one coaching/practice on our range. Throwers of all ages and skill levels are welcome. Parking is limited so please consider carpooling.
At 1PM we will transition to competitive throwing. Crafted Wild maintains a property leaderboard with awards given out for the top three throwers in each of the following categories:
- Adult Men
- Adult Women
- Youth Boys
- Youth Girls
- Junior Boys
- Junior Girls
Throwers are encouraged to register with the World Atlatl Association to have their scores considered for the world leaderboard.
Registration is required for planning purposes and to help the day run smoothly. Registration closes at 5PM the day before the tournament.
